Thy Golden Grail is a three-day, in-person Kundalini yoga micro-retreat over Easter weekend in Montecito. Devoted to deep practice and embodied mystery teachings, this immersion is designed to restore wholeness—awakening inner creativity, strengthening your capacity for renewal, and helping spiritual insight land in real life.

Thy Golden Grail is an intimate immersion—structured to deliver real renewal and integrated wholeness in a single weekend.

Using rare Kundalini yoga practices, scholarship, and earth-based ceremony, we’ll explore the Easter Mysteries and the Grail tradition in a mystery + metaphysical way—without religious framing—so the teachings become lived experience in your body, your nervous system, and your daily choices.

The grail mystery

In medieval Grail literature, the Holy Grail is linked to the Easter story—the cup used by the Christ on his final night. In Arthurian legend, it becomes the great quest—requiring courage and purity of heart.

In yogic and tantric traditions, we approach the Grail in a different register: as an inner vessel of the body itself—physical and subtle—where wisdom can be received, metabolized, and lived.

This weekend, we’ll use Kundalini yoga, meditation, and guided contemplation to enter the Grail mystery directly—so it isn’t only an idea, but a lived, embodied understanding you can carry into your actual life.

The despacho (ceremony offering)

A Despacho is an earth-based reciprocity ceremony from the Q’ero lineage of Peru—an offering made with natural elements, prayer, and intention.

It’s exquisitely beautiful, and it has a way of making the invisible feel tangible: gratitude, release, and the quiet re-ordering that happens when you offer something back to Life.

Held in service to the energy of renewal and rebirth, we’re grateful to be hosting this ceremony with an established Q’ero-trained western ceremony leader.

Thy Golden Grail takes place in Montecito, California—a small town on California’s Central Coast, and where Harmanjot currently calls home. The Central Coast is distinct from Southern California: slightly more remote, elemental, and naturally restorative—where the nervous system can actually exhale.

If journeying By Air to this experience, we suggest flying into:

  • Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) - best.

  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)  - approx. 2.5 hour drive.

Thy Golden Grail is a non-residential retreat, lodging is not provided in this experience. In searching for hotels and rentals, we suggest looking in:

F.A.Q.

  • You don’t need prior Kundalini yoga experience, but please come prepared to practice and deeply meditate. Practices will be taught clearly, with options for different bodies and energy levels.

  • What should I bring / wear?

    • Comfortable clothing you can move and sit in (layers recommended)

    • A shawl or wrap for meditation

    • Water bottle

    • Journal + pen

    • A small towel and swimsuit (for the optional sacred swim, weather permitting)

    • Any personal items that help you feel grounded (eye pillow, socks, etc.)

    A packing list will also be sent out shortly before the experience.

  • Come well-hydrated, avoid rushing if you can, and plan to arrive Thursday evening, so that you can enjoy the full Friday experience.

  • Yes. Kundalini yoga is a self-regulated practice. You’re always welcome to rest, step out, or choose a gentler option. If you’re pregnant or working with an injury, you can email ahead of time so we can support you thoughtfully.

  • What is your refund / transfer policy?

    Because this is a small, limited-capacity event, all registrations are final.

    If you can’t attend, you may transfer your seat to another person with written notice. If there is a waitlist, we’ll do our best to help facilitate a transfer, but we can’t guarantee resale.

  • Because They Golden Grail takes place at a private residence, the exact address will be sent upon registration.
